Well... SNoW activites will resume in a few, don't worry I'll keep you posted.
We haven't trained any new household heads since the old ones were moved to other programs... besides a few. But we need to train the household heads... so until they get the proper training. I'll be calling everyone ! So expect a call on Tuesday... But here's the info just in case.

This coming Saturday there will be a Cluster Fellowship. All three chapters will come together to support our Cluster's dance team. They'll be dancing and so will other groups. Hopefully you all can make it.

Our team Reps that will lead you to the event are: Allan Ramos, Jeffrey Fernandez, Fiona Lee, and Christine Song. They will be meeting at designated places according to your own location. If there are not many willing or able to meet up with the team then the Default meeting place will be at Bay Station. If you plan on coming to support we highly recommend you travel with the team.

The weekend after that we'll be having A PEP RALLY for HighSchoolBase. Which is to introduce HighSchool Base to the community and to highschools. It's going to be an amazing event. So please come out and join! (HIGHSCHOOLERS THAT ARE NON-YFC'S ARE ENCOURAGED TO COME TOO)

Hey guys! We're pleased to announce that we'll be having our FIRST EVER HOUSEHOLD ASSEMBLY as a newly reformed chapter! YAY! Here are the details:

Who: Scarborough Northwest
What: Our FIRST Household Assembly
Where: CFC Office (156 Shorting Road)
When: Saturday, April 28, 2007
Time: 1-5pm

COMMON PRAYER TIME
Also, we have set up a common prayer time for our chapter.
Every Wednesday at 6:30 pm we would ask that you just say a small prayer for our chapter, your household, your household head, your chapter heads, our cluster, any other petitions you might have, whatever. It doesn't matter how long or short it is, as long as it's heartfelt. Hopefully all of us will be able to participate in this. It's nice to know that you are praying along with the other people in the chapter, even if you can't see them or even if you don't know them. You know how the saying goes, "The chapter that prays together, stays together." We hope that this will give our chapter a sense of unity through Christ and will set a strong spiritual foundation. =)

A little note from your chapter heads:

Praise the Lord for a truly blessed Pre-Con! For everyone who participated in a competition, simply attended, or was there in spirit, I'm so thankful for ALL of you. Our chapter received the award for Most Inspiring Chapter and I couldn't agree more because YOU GUYS are what inspire me to keep going. Seeing you praise God and grow spiritually and have fun doing it is the best gift I could ask for and I am constantly thanking Him for blessing us with such a wonderful chapter. We may be small in number, but we are definitely not small in spirit. I urge you guys to remain strong in your faith, and keep living fearlessly. I love you guys! =) -Karen

Guys all I can say is God has truly blessed us with an inspiring chapter. It really makes me smile to know that you guys were willing to push on though there were only a couple of us. I know it was hard and tiring to be running up and around the courts, but you truly have lived up to the word fearless. You pushed on through physical exhaustion, I pray that you can do the same spiritually.Whatever the case may be, remember that if we rely on our strength we will fall, but if we rely on God's we have nothing to fear, and nothing will be impossible to achieve. - David

Good Friday Marmora Retreat

Who: Anyone really. Emphasis on Leaders...

When: Friday, April 6th, 2007 | please read Meeting Place

Where: Marmora (We honestly don't know where it is exactly (1.5 - 2 hours away)

Meeting Place: The meeting place where we will all gather and start our travel time to Marmora will be on Mccowan and Finch (Scarborough). We will be meeting up at the McDonald's / Pizza Pizza at Woodside Square. Please be there @ 9:00AM that morning.

The Plan:

- We will go to Marmora

- Do the Stations of the Cross / Possibly the Rosary as well

- We will have a Potluck Lunch there

- Go Home

Food Situation:

- On this day, we will not be eating meat to stay constant with the Lenten Season. However, we can eat fish, bread, rice, vegetables, etc...

- If you can please help out in bringing food for this potluck.

What to Bring:

- Rosary

- Walking shoes (they could get dirty)

- Warm clothes (we are unsure of how cold it will be then, but be prepared)

Transportation:

- There will be CFC that will help provide the transportation there and back. However, just in case there is an excess number of people, and you know you can help in this area...please help if you can to provide transportation for others...

HERO CAMP Covenant Orientation

Thank the Lord for such a blessed camp! Everything was more than we could have asked for: we had awesome participants, awesome food, an awesome time, and we paved the way for an awesome relationship with God. We would love to see all the participants again this weekend, and we encourage the rest of the members to come too, to get to know the new members as well as the rest of our brand new chapter.

Hey guys! Just a few tidbits of info:

If you don't already know by now, the chapter formerly known as Northwest Scarborough/Markham (NWS) has split into three parts: Markham, Scarborough Northeast, and Scarborough Northwest (that's us!). A map will be up soon detailing the geographical location of our chapter.
We are now in Cluster 2 alongside Scarborough Southeast and Scarborough Southwest. Yay!
